Last updated August 21, 2026. Vow & Bet is a private wedding prediction pool. This policy explains the limited information used to run a pool.
What we collect
When you create or join a pool, we store the names you enter, wedding details, your selected questions and answers, deposit amount, payment method, payment confirmation status, and payout status. Hosts also create a password; the app stores a one-way password hash rather than the password itself.
What we do not collect
Vow & Bet does not process Venmo or Zelle payments, collect bank credentials, request contacts, use location, or use advertising trackers. Money transfers happen directly between guests and the trusted bank outside the app.
How information is used
Information is used only to show the wedding book, maintain the host payment ledger, calculate live payout estimates, resolve questions, and display results to people with the pool link. A host can see the full names and entries submitted to that host's pool.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal information. Pool information is shared with the host and guests through the private pool link. The host controls the pool and may request that its information be removed. To request help with a pool, visit the support page and include the pool link.
Children
Vow & Bet is not directed to children. Do not use the app if you are not legally allowed to participate in the applicable pool or wager.
